Inclusive High Quality Teaching within a whole school Graduated Approach to SEN Support
Kate Browning explores some of the key approaches to adapting teaching to enable pupils with SEND to have the best possible chance of learning within the framework of a whole school graduated approach. She also looks at the role all leaders play in supporting this endeavour.
3 takeaways from Kate’s training session
– Understand the importance of The Graduated Approach being built into rather than bolted onto whole school practice –
– Come away with a range of approaches to adapting class teaching to ensure it is ‘inclusive by design’ and can respond to the strengths and needs of children and young people with SEND –
– See how all leaders can work together to build a whole school approach to an even better quality of education for children with SEND –
This session is aimed at SENCos and those in leadership roles in mainstream primary and secondary working with children with SEND.
