Zara Wright / Strategic Lead for SEND, Weydon Multi Academy Trust
Jo Dilworth is founder and CEO of Appeer Community Interest Company. It’s a not for profit organisation set up to benefit autistic and neurodiverse girls and women and those around them. A parent to autistic children and a neurodivergent woman herself, having been diagnosed at 40. Jo is incredibly passionate about connecting the girls/women and parents/carers which Appeer supports through their shared social interests, using a positive strengths-based approach. These interests include animation and gaming, animals, baking, science, books and films. Jo has a strong background in education, having worked in mainstream and specialist provisions. She founded and managed the SEND and Inclusion offering at The London Grid for Learning for a number of years. She has Postgraduate Certificates in Education and Autism and a Graduate Certificate in Psychology.
Zara Wright is the Strategic Lead for SEND at Weydon Multi Academy Trust. A qualified Teacher and SENDCo, Zara has worked in specialist and mainstream schools for 15 years. She has a Masters Degree in Inclusive Education and is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Psychology. Zara is also proud to be an LGBT+ ally.
