NEW – Live Monthly Expert Training Sessions This Spring
This Spring we are hosting monthly LIVE training sessions to cover the latest hot topics in SEND for your whole school.
Time and budgets are being squeezed even tighter, which is why we’ve made each 1 hour session just £10!
This school year, instead of running our Virtual SEND Conferences on a couple of fixed dates, we’ve decided to release our training sessions throughout the year in small, bite sized sessions. Training for Education will be launching 1 new LIVE SEND training session per month. Our training is delivered by SEND experts, with extensive experience. The sessions are great for CPD, reasonably priced and available at our online shop.

Wendy has worked as a speech and language therapist for over 30 years, in clinical practice, higher education and the third sector. Wendy is currently the Director of LINGO, which provides consultancy, professional development, resources. It also has a growing team of speech and language therapists, providing direct support to schools and families of children with SLCN.

Director of SEND, Weydon Multi Academy Trust
Supporting SEMH Students: boundaries between care and educational provision
Zara is Director of SEND at Weydon Multi Academy Trust and deputy head teacher at a LAN school. She has worked in specialist and mainstream educational settings for 15 years. She is a qualified SENDCo and holds an MEd in Inclusion. Zara works with a number of local charities to help promote support for young people and their parents.

Making meetings work for children, parents, SENCOs and schools
Ginny has been a Headteacher, Senior Manager and Class teacher. She is currently SENCO of 4 primary schools in Northamptonshire. Ginny believes her mantra #Followtheempathyroad can be embedded in the classroom as well as in the whole school environment through a caring approach that involves listening to others and putting ourselves in their shoes.
