This SENDcast Session will be pre-recorded and available to view from 4th July 2024
What are the key pillars of effective MAT SEND leadership?
Effective MAT SEND leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring that all students within the trust, including those with SEND, have access to high-quality education and the support they need to succeed.
Drawing on his experience of 6 years as a MAT leader for SEND, Simon Tanner outlines the key pillars that make up effective MAT SEND leadership. He covers the role of intent, implementation, impact, assessment, provision mapping, learners & families and use of Teaching Assistants. He also reviews the assurance activities sitting above this that ensure these areas are embedded and allow action planning to take place to support development.
