SENCO wellbeing: Don’t just survive – thrive!
Having interacted with 1000s of SENCOs up and down the country, Author and Educational Consultant Lynn How looks at current themes and the issues SENCOs are facing.
Lynn reviews statistics (both her own and official research) on current SENCO wellbeing issues. Her training then focuses on how SENCOs can and must look after themselves (to thrive not just survive) and how schools and headteachers can best support them. She also discusses what we need to do at a national level to aid SENCO retention (taking a collective stance).
