Metacognition and SpLD: learning how to learn

Thinking about the learning process is vital for learning success. However, learners with Specific Learning Difficulties are often already experiencing cognitive load, executive function problems, and a sense of failure.

Dyslexia specialist, Louise Selby considers how to explicitly teach metacognition to these learners in ways that they learn, so that they can thrive as independent learners.

This SENDcast Session will be pre-recorded and available to view from 5th December 2024.
